HoN CG Teams

Hey,

Cybergamer currently has a Heroes of newerth ladder running and i wanted to see a show of hands of who actually plays HoN, along with anyone that would be interested. For anyone that hasn't heard of HoN its a remake of the Warcraft 3 mod Dota.

We would need around 7 players to enter the ladder (5v5 games however 2 extra incase of drop outs).

For anyone that is interested in playing however dosn't have access to the closed beta, i currently have around 5 invites left, so PM me if you need one

Anyone that is interested post here, and we can get some in-house games together to practice and find out who can play what heroes.

Not too bad. Been meaning to call the Tully household to let yas know what was going on. But it's going alright, nearly put of this shithole jail cell of a recruit school. Then start my electronics training the following Monday. Hopefully go and pickup a lappy the weekend after, or organise my pc. Just depends on which block I get to stay in, and if I get my own room or not.

I got my defence intranet login now too, was going to send u an email, bit there was a few tullys, if u look up me on the email list, send me one so I know which is you.

Alright, since there seems to be a fair few people who now have a beta key, lets try and organize a time for a in-house game.

Was thinking Saturday (pref early in the afternoon since i have to go to stu's shindig) we can make our own private game with non-stats and train some players up.

got my lappy, and internet (its noty up yet) should be right to go sometime this week. start my category course this week aswell. so i might see if i get it working to get on vent etc, by the end of the week *fingers crossed*.

so other than mass weefect, the rest are online multi. if anyone has those games. ill be keen to play when i get my internet up and running.

What where the specs you got tho? There is a few different builds you can get of it .

pritty much that one, as far as i can see although. i know my gpu is a GeForce GT 330M 1GB

but the rest of the specs look right. plays all these new games i got great, with a good size screen.

yeah general day for me is from 7am-1pm is for my school work.

then after that depending on the day i may do other things, but generally its my time.

mondays and wednesday afternoon for example we have an hour of sport. and 1 in every6 days i have duty. which is basically a right-off for that night. other than that, im generally free.

Sorry i've been pretty lazy with this hole thing. The last few weekends i haven't been on my PC to much as drinking has taken the higher priority.

From what i have been been watching and reading from HONCAST, moving to a league such as Cybergammer, Game arena or Watchtower might be a huge jump for some players. Assuming that i'm home saturday night i'm thinking of setting up a practice match - non-stats where we can run through certain combo's, the league rules and sort out which hero everyone wants to play. From there i should be able to hook up some friendly scrims with some of the australian clans i have been talking to.

Again what i would suggest is watching www.honcast.com and learning how to double creep, ancient stack, block and also jungle from the videos. We can run through it all for those interested.

If we can't find a solid 6 players for this i will be looking at signing up with the australian teams in the ladder. I've already been invited to them so its just a matter of sorting our clan out first.
