Nah Kink, $280 is waaaaay overpriced. $150 normally and even then only real fans should bother.
Its like those ticket scalpers. Big Day Out is roughly $120 with wankers selling those same tickets on eBay for $300. Not worth it.

Don't bother with the collecters edition. Don't get me wrong, its not a bad game but its definitely not worth that price.

On a side note, I was playing the free weekend and I'm not entirely impressed. Perhaps it was because of high server loads, but it was running oh so poorly on my pc. Lets pray its somewhat smoother when it comes to release or I'll be selling my account on ebay.

I jumped on for a bit and it was a bit laggy (compared to the closed BETA where there were a maximum of 1000 people per server was quite playable).

Well it doesn't appear to be too graphically intense so it should in actual fact play on my pc. I don't have the best specifications, but 4gb of RAM, and the new seriess of 8800GT should be able to handle it. It does appear to run like a dog with no legs though...so whether that be a server side lag issue or an alias pc shitting itself issue is undecided at this present point.

i dont know what you based your idea's on when you posted that. Its very easy to get source code from the game by doing ICMP packet manipulation and ARP posioning, the issues is getting enough players onto a private server who can donate, similar to any cod4 clan.

There already is a few warhammer private servers running and even a "how to" on youtube.

I plan on giving them a go once i have downloaded the game..
